GTA VI takes place in the state of Leonida, the game's stand-in for Florida. Rockstar has not released the official map image yet, but it has confirmed its locations: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga.

The confirmed map locations
Vice City: the main city, Leonida’s criminal and cultural capital. Skyscrapers, white-sand beaches like Vice Beach, nightclubs and neighborhoods with their own identity.
Leonida Keys: the southern archipelago, inspired by the Florida Keys. Islands linked by worn bridges, marinas and roads that end in the sea. Jason lives here.
Grassrivers: Leonida’s wetlands, the game’s take on the Everglades. Canals, hovercrafts, alligators and fishermen.
Port Gellhorn: the state’s fishing port, with its docks and its faded coastal-town feel.
Ambrosia: Leonida’s industrial area, dominated by its factories and working-class activity.
Mount Kalaga: the mountainous area in the north of the state, with its natural park landscapes.
How you cross it
Jason and Lucia’s story spans the whole state: when their score goes wrong, the conspiracy they get dragged into takes them from one end of Leonida to the other, and that journey is the backbone of the game.
