GTA VI on PC: everything we know

GTA VI has no announced PC version. On November 19, 2026 the game arrives exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar has said nothing official about PC beyond its silence.
What Take-Two says
At the September 2026 annual shareholders meeting, CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked about the cadence of PC launches. His answer: the company’s strategy is, over time, “to launch for any platforms for which there’s a meaningful audience”, adding that “the PC platform is becoming more and more important to our company”. Months earlier, in May, the same Zelnick acknowledged that PC can account for up to half the sales of a major release, but justified the console debut as focusing on “the core consumer”. The industry translation: double-dipping (console first, PC later) is the model that worked so well for GTA 5.
What history says
- GTA 5: consoles in September 2013, PC in April 2015 - an 18-month wait.
- Red Dead Redemption 2: consoles in October 2018, PC in November 2019 - 13 months.
If the pattern holds, the reasonable window for GTA VI on PC is late 2027 to 2028. Nothing is confirmed.

The console version is where everything happens: pre-orders open since June 25, 2026, standard and Ultimate editions, and a pre-order bonus across all of them. When Rockstar announces PC, you will read it here first.
