Criminal Profile
The system that judges how you commit your crimes: from Professional to Psycho, with a hidden tier that can become irreversible. Jason and Lucia have separate profiles.
The Criminal Profile is the system GTA VI uses to evaluate the way you commit crimes, according to what was shown in the Extended Look and the preview sessions. Rockstar stresses it is not an honour system like Red Dead Redemption 2’s: it doesn’t measure whether you’re good or evil, but how you commit crimes. A carefully planned heist without unnecessary casualties is judged very differently from a robbery that descends into chaos.
The known tiers run from Professional to Aggressive, Violent and Psycho, and there is apparently an additional tier beyond those: reaching it can make its consequences irreversible for the rest of the playthrough.
Jason and Lucia have separate profiles, so the player’s choices can shape them into very different criminals: one a calculated professional, the other an unpredictable loose cannon. The system runs alongside the Heat meter, which tracks what the police know about you at any moment.
