GTA VI: The Album singles hit 4.1 million Spotify streams in 24 hours

GTA VI’s musical pull can now be measured in numbers. According to Spotify data reported by The Source, the first six singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album racked up 4.1 million global streams in their first 24 hours.

The effect goes far beyond the new songs: the Grand Theft Auto Official Playlist multiplied its listening almost 400 times compared with the previous day, and “GTA VI” searches on Spotify rose 3,042% against the average (“GTA” searches jumped 950%).

The strongest debut was Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need”, which entered Spotify’s US Daily Chart at No. 23. In artist page views, Keith Richards climbed 1,200%, Morgan Wallen 168%, Rauw Alejandro 96% and Travis Scott 93%; the most shared track was Travis Scott’s “RHYNO”, with over 137,000 shares across the six singles.

The United States streamed the official playlist the most on release day, followed by Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Germany. Fans created more than 2,000 GTA VI-related playlists, and over 250,000 user playlists added at least one of the singles. Spotify also promoted the album’s pre-save with billboards in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London and Mexico City.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, produced with Atlantic Records, collects 34 original songs and arrives in full on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. Read our album announcement coverage and the list of the first six singles.
